I started this TTRPG thing with the classic Red Box in the 80's. It came with these incredibly cheap dice one had to color with a crayon to make the indices stand out. I still have them. The Red Box also came with an introductory module Keep on the Borderlands.

I grew up in that Keep and lost many characters to the hordes within the Caves of Chaos nearby. In time I built Kingdoms in Greyhawk. Eventually I ran after-school D&D for the Linden Hills community in Minneapolis, graduated to AD&D, and explored a wide spread of systems: Star Frontiers (a favorite), Aftermath, Gamma World, Top Secret, Morrow Project, and more. I skipped 3 and 3.5 (college), played 4e and 5e and some PF1e. During Covid I picked up the tabard and learned to run TTRPGs online and have been running games ever since.

Today I focus on Pathfinder 2e for its crunch and world-building. I’m a fan of Golarion. My active campaign is Abomination Vaults, expanded with Otari civic threads and Roseguard legacies. I operate with a professional mindset: structured prep, custom handouts, and self-host Foundry VTT with a Raspberry Pi 5.

I am still learning the PF2e rules. I’m candid about that: the system is deep; mistakes happen. My commitment is clarity, momentum, and fairness—I correct quickly, keep everyone oriented with plain-language rulings, and tune encounters for teamwork and tactical play. New players get support. Table culture is respectful, collaborative, and steady—safety tools, clear expectations, consistent scheduling.
